 Balanced Diet

A balanced diet should be contained in basic nutrients for functioning the body in an appropriate optimal proportion. A balanced diet is composed of basic nutrients which are essential for growth. A balanced diet should be carried out through the growth maintenance development repair and smooth functioning of the internal activities.

Food Requirements of the Body for Balanced Diet 

  • Growth food
    •  Milk at least 2 glasses for children daily
    • And at least 1 glass for adults daily
    • Meat at least 2 or more servings of 2 oz meat ½ cup cooked beans

  • Energy food
    • Rice: 4 or more servings of Rice
    • 1 serving Rice - ½ serving cooked rice
    • Wheat flour. At least 4 or more servings daily
    • 1 serving wheat chapatti 

  • Protective food
    • Vegetables ½ 2 cups or more servings of cooked vegetables
    • Dark green and yellow vegetables at least on alternate days
    • Fruits vitamin C Rich foods 

A balanced diet is contained in every meal in nature but should be taken in a small amount of quantity the requirement for the body is calories minerals proteins vitamins. overeating also leads to disease, like obesity fat . also a balanced diet helps to live a healthy life .take all the vitamins and stay away from scurvy and calcium deficiency arthritis, and many other infections.
